Bouchon de Nemours, historical event

Sunday October 4  |

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the city of Nemours will travel back in time for the Bouchon de Nemours, an automobile event organized by the PASSE or MOBILE association.

For one day, the streets of the city center will be transformed into an authentic open-air museum, bringing together vintage cars, collector vehicles, vintage utility vehicles, trucks, antique motorcycles and emblematic vehicles of French and international automotive heritage.

A retro, festive and family event

Inspired by the famous "traffic jams" of yesteryear on the Nationale 7, the Bouchon de Nemours recreates the atmosphere of the great holiday outings of the 1950s to the 1980s, when the A6 motorway had not yet been built.

Program:
-Exhibition of antique vehicles on the Champ de Mars.
-Recreation of a vintage automobile traffic jam on the route of the old RN7.
-Retro and festive atmosphere.
-Musical animation.
-Numerous stalls and activities: automobile sector, miniature cars and toys, military camp, children's games, farmers' market, security area, etc.
-Gastronomy on site.

The event is free for visitors and is open to both car enthusiasts and those who simply want to discover and enjoy this particular historical recreation.
